Anyone know of any information on upgrades, or maybe even a V2 being developed for Mr. Harper at the worlds? It seems like all the other manufacturers are racing either prototypes or just released chassis'.
I'm really enjoying my detc410 and I hope Durango puts some time and money into continuing to develop this car.

Has anyone had issues after building the rear gear diff with it being to tight with no oil? I was helping a local racer yesterday and his rear diff feels like it has 10k in it with no oil. After investigating it looks like the o-rings are to tight on the out-drives.
Are you doing some type of modification to the out-drive shaft or are the o-rings he received to small?

Then I would get tamiya ball cups and ball studs for less slop, I cant remember the part numbers but they are on this thread somewhere thats where I found them, for sure get a parma ultimate front bumper for a TC5, and maybe some titanium turn buckles from tqrcracing.com, "if you look down a few posts you will see the part numbers I posted for them". And that should about get you set

First Build
I just finished my first build of a touring car and it was the DETC410. Everything went really well and I can't believe how good the instructions are. I'm used to buying pan cars for oval racing and you are lucky if you get instructions The only question that I have is the amount of slop in the wheels. It seems like I can pull on the wheels towards the outside and push on them and that is where the slop is. Hope this makes sense. It seems like some shims next to the bearings might take the slop out, but I didn't see anything from TD that is made for this. I have some of the wheel shims, but these seem to only fit over the skinny part of the axel to extend the distance between wheels. Does anyone else have this problem? And how did you fix it? Are the bearing holes 5mm?
Thanks
