Noob questions

Is there any special type of break in I should do for rubber (sweep exp) tires running indoor carpet? And how long should the tires last before the performance falls off?

Also are tire warmers needed? I have a set of trinity's from back in the day.

We've found you only really need to heat tyres if they're 32's or above.

When new we just clean with either brake cleaner or lighter fluid, then apply additive as per normal.

Run one or 2 packs through them and they are fine. I personally have the MuchMore Tire Sander (I use it for cleaning tires) and I will spin them and put some SXT cleaner on a rag and get all of the mold release and junk off of them. Works well, softens the tires and they work pretty much first time on the track for me.

Used this for various Sweep tires (mostly QTS 32) and Jaco Blues. Same technique can revive an old set of tires for me as well.

I use Simple Green to clean my tires and let that dry completely before applying traction compound. A few minutes on the track usually scrubs them in enough and I'm set.

Simple green works on anything!!!
After a day in the mud with my quad I spray that all over let it sit for 15-20min rinse and its just like new, even cleaned my sneakers with it lol

how do you normally use as tire cleaner like brake cleaner or apply and let it dry then apply additive, do you use after each run.

I just use the motor spray, it seems to work fine. I hear some guys use the buggy grip but I have yet to try it.

FYI if you want to keep the disk rims looking nice and white use Goo Gone with a clean rag. LIKE NEW look.

I buy a bag of shop rags from the local auto supply store and spray it on the rag before using it to wipe off the tires.

It depends on where you race. I use rubber tires and i did not face any problem.
