If your getting it next week, should be ideal for Wrexham the week after, time to test it at Ashby to get a feel for it too. Definately wouldnt mind a closer look at these, and im sure Karla will be tempted by these too.
Always nice to see new things being tried and tested, evolution is the way forward, especially when its a Tamiya evolution i guess
Left a message for Karl on this, (Morning Karl ) didnt catch a price for it though.
Alloy + Bling + Tamiya = "HOW MUCH!!!"

Tamiya "DJ" Pro-Module Rear Suspension System
Now available from Tamiya America, Inc. is a new concept in suspension design, the Pro-Module Rear Suspension system for the 415MS and Evolution IV chassis kits. Item # 1004
The Pro-Module Rear Suspension incorporates the upper link and wheel hub as part of the dampening system as apposed to a conventional design. This effectively creates a linkage system (cantilever) with no additional moving parts. The result is a reactive and exponential dampening geometry to enhance control and drivability. Both the arms and hubs are machined aluminum finished with a bold anodized plating. Hubs feature 0 deg. of toe.
System Contents
1002 Pro-Module Suspension Arm 2pc
1003 Pro-Module Suspension Hub 2pc
N/A Spring (Red) 2pc
9805611 5 X 9mm Ball Connector 2pc
53533 3 X 16mm Titanium Screw 4pc
9805894 10mm Spacer 4pc
9804153 5.5 X 2mm Spacer 2pc
9804152 5.5 X 3mm Spacer 2pc

yes, the DJ suspension kit went very fast (20 units over night). We have another 20 or so unit coming in next week and due to the popularity we've seen from the first batch, we are now taking pre-orders for the next batch. So if you're interested in getting one, we highly suggest putting in a pre-order

Interesting concept, anybody know how to calculate the wheel rate of such a set-up?

ahhh. I see where 1 would be accurate for equal and parallel links but I was trying to come up with an equation for the motion ratio when the links aren't. Thanks.

speedtech seem to be out of this suspension system .... anyone know if there are anymore coming in or where they are available and in stock?

There should be more available after the Reedy Race. Some of the units were allocated to TRF drivers around the world, and to the media (magazines) so we were shorted some quantities. But more should be available after Reedy
