Hi,
You can go onto Alex's site http://www.alex.ne.jp/rc/top/rc.html
Or my site shows the features of this kit in english along with more images.
http://www.rcinfusion.com/KitDetail.aspx?KitID=923
I also carry a full range of parts for both the Stinger and Barracuda R3.
I have 4 Barracuda R3's in stock, and 1 Stinger that I assembled for photography purposes, it has never been run but it has been built to race.
Let me know if you're interested.

Regards, Rob

Hi guys, I remember someone mentioned about a Spool before? Has that gone into production? Would like to get more feedback on it.

I have recently put in a very tight (not lock) front diff into my Stinger and boy did you go well with it. One meeting I could barely control the beast when it had a one way, the next I put in the diff and it cancelled out a lot of the extra movements. Will work on a better setup and post it here.

Hi FaiLip

I only got 2 spools made, one to Nielsen and one to my self (see pic. of them at post 485)
This spool is made of dural alluminium and weighs around 20g.
With the spool we are also able to attack hard on the inside to a coner and it draws hard out of the turn.
The car will understeer a bit but not much.
If you can, get one and try it!

Thanks for the pointer, been away from this forum for awhile, but I do have some question that I need help resolving. Basically I have traction problem with my Stinger. I have tried many things to keep oversteering, but find that the car is alright with low power (stock) motor, but as soon as you put something decent (12T) the car will not be able to handle it. It almost feel like torque steering. Have you guys come across this? Do you have any setup that you guys can share for low traction surface? I tried that diff, it work, but still think the car works better with either a spool or one way. Any assistance is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Philip

geezzz this post have really gone dead, well here is the new car from Alex Racing Design, the bell drive that we have been tease upon.

CER its call and it look like a CE4 with Stinger suspension setup. Quite different as the motor is up front. Really wonder how it would handle, maybe time for some of the guru of this thread to share some thoughts

Looks nice though...

Thats right, the CE4 is a common chassis in the japan drift scene, up there with yokie SD. would be awesome for drifting, because it has similar characteristics to a TA03F (front motor and batt in back) giving it great balance and weight distribution....

Yea, agree that it will be a great drift chassis, but boy I really want to see how well it does on the track against the likes of HB, Tamiya, Yoks and other great TC Chassis
