How do you trim the leading edge and trailing edge? I need a tool like the one from Integy??

I will go with a 9x2 or 10x2 Modified. That should keep me up with the Nitro guys!

Trinity brush factory all the way, the Integy is ok but not great...

Set the cut off wheel as low as it will go and bingo you've got it, perfect everytime...

I'm all set!! Went during lunch today and got a 9x2 modified Orion Revolution. I'm a little worried that my poor little TC3 is gonna end up in pieces after dropping this powerhouse in it!

Any recommendations on gearing? I have the stock 72 (or 73) spur gear. Any suggestions on pinion to start with?

Try a final drive around 8.0 to 8.55 depending on track size. That would put you in the 21 to 22 pinion range on a TC3.

Cobalt with Lemans XXX brushes last pretty long. I saw a team driver testing the motor w/o cutting the comm. for 15 runs!

i think that technology will continue to increase and allow brushes/comms to last longer. I think this is good for rc. good for me too!

all I know is that LRP motors are Yokomo based (same as Reedy KR).......
when i bought a LRP Quantum Comp 2 years ago there was a flyer in box showing the other stuff they sell, looks like back then their motors were mostly based on EPIC cans.
