Hello All

I am happy to say that the STX parts line is now live on www.irwinrc.com
There are a few more bits to be added, but all kit parts are in stock and ready to ship.

I invite our U.S. WRC fans to visit the site for our week long store wide sale on all WRC parts, as well as a special on the all new WRC GTX 4WD platform. Sale runs thru May 6 and orders will be shipped to customers in the coming weeks.

Feel free to contact me here by pm or email me through our website if you have any questions or special request for our upcoming shipment.

Thanks!
Jason Irwin

Hi Guys

Last week i had my first race with my new STX!
The car works very well.
But i think the car has a bit too much flex!
I also tried the servo stiffener and the motor stiffener. It was much better but not enough!

Any ideas?

If you are using the upper decks from the kit, go immediately for the 3mm ones...

Once done, mount your upper decks on the outside of the bulkheads, put some two 22mm standoffs in the front and in the rear bulkheads and 3 32mm standoffs between the the upper decks.

With this configuration, the car is way more efficient on high grip.

Never ever remove the stands in the bulkheads, the car is more precise with them. You can remove the upper decks stands if you want more flex in the front or in the rear...

I believe I have a few sets of the 3mm upper deck plates. I will add them to the site this weekend. -jason

I think they are coming in two sorts, some with 3mm holes and some with 4mm holes. You can see on my picture that I'm using the 4mm ones with the aluminum inserts.

The result is the same at the end...

The new 015 looks very interesting...

Any idea when the car will be available? How about a downloadable manual?

Thanks.

Carpet season is approaching and Fenix Racing is happy to release some option for the WRC STX 2015.

We start with 2mm 7075-T6 chassis, machined to ensure equal torsion. Narrowed down to 83mm and just 83grams in weight.

Then we have link plates, made in 2mm 7075-T6, to ensure a constant setup

Already available at Fenix Racing!
