So this doesn't become a popularity contest. Can anyone tell me of pros or cons that they can think of between these two?
Thanks again!

Unless you need a new charger.....if you do the GM Commander is a great choice then you can program any of the GM Highend ESC probably forever...SO there are the pros and cons.
The KO is a top notch ESC has won many US and Asia races and the GM is a big winner in Europe.
Choice is yours.

Shookie... errr??? thats funny
I would get a KO if i do have some $$$ left before
i bought my GTX... the hand held on the KO is
a pretty good programming unit. you can scroll thru
the menu pretty quick....
for the GM... yeah... u need to get the commando charger,
which i don't have.. and sometimes it is pain in da butt to change
the settings.... so i usually leave it in stock function.

If you get the newer update it can charge Li-Poly and LI-ion.
Oh yea you can upgrade your Commander by just switching out a chip. In fact I just did.

The KO VSF-1 Pro with the Multi-setting unit is about $220, which is a pretty good deal.
KO support seems to be pretty good, you even have the thread right here on RC Tech with KO employees
