What makes the Tamiya a rubber tire car? What is a carpet car and who makes them?

Simple. When Tamiya Inc. starts sending their designers to find out what makes cars fast on foam tires, then they will probably soon after have a car that's good on carpet. That is not to say Tamiyas don't work on foam. They just aren't "known" as being a first choice for that type of racing. You see and have seen Gil Losi Jr. at these races. You see and have seen the Associated guys. The SW, TC3 and XXXS all have proven racords on carpet. Xray really seems to respond to its team racers and takes foam racing seriously.

Or you can buy the Corally carpet spec RDX.

Default Pictures on Friday

Here we go again

P.S. for all those guys who said that the 415 was not a carpet car, the 415ms is third overall in Mod with the brushless system

And Matt signed my "official red Matt Francis" transmitter bag last year. Now, I understand.

That was the kind of answer I needed to hear. I don't believe a good car on asphalt won't make a good car on carpet. The only real difference I see is the carpet has more traction.
