Default narrow chassis mod?

I have been looking at the chassis differances between the T4 13 and 14 and was wondering has anyone tried to mod the 13 by making it narrower overall and narrower near the suspension arms, would this help on low grip surfaces?

That's not the biggest difference between the two cars though. There's an updated motor mount, and perhaps the biggest change is the upgraded suspension system. No more roll center pieces, but rather plastic inserts for roll center.

Besides that, I know a couple of guys back with the old T3'11/T3'12 were modding their chassis. They were just cutting out the rear to gain some flex.

Could anybody tell me if suspension pivot mount and even inserts(suspension mount adapter) of Spec-R R1 could be used on the RSD RX4V2 conversion kit, isn't it?

best regards

Yes, the SPec-R suspension mounts are the same ones that Christian uses in his RSD RX4 conversion. You could buy the whole Spec-R set (pins, blocks, inserts and insert balls) and use it perfectly on the RX4.

Hi guys,

I wish to ask for your help. I'll be joining the TITC 2014 Open Brushless at Thailand two weeks from now.

Can anyone advice for a set up? Please look at the video below as this would be the lay out, but that's Jilles running mod and i'll just using 13.5T boosted.

Track is high grip.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks in advance.

Go to http://forum.teamxray.com/xsheets-search.php

Seach for T4 and under country select Thailand. Alexander Hagberg has 2 setups from that track. The 2012 one is with 13.5, the 2013 TITC was with modified. Try both setups!

+1 Hagburg's setups will get you very close. Run multiple packs thru it and really get a feel for the setup, then if you feel it needs tweaked to your driving style make small changes. I would start with his 13.5 setup and concentrate on making something based of it work first. If I couldn't make that work i would look at the other one. 2 weeks isn't a lot of time! Good luck

It's not the same track. Above is rc addict, this time titc will be held at Huge Rc a new track by surikarn.

I'll be going with my best Asfalt setup from my home track which should be pretty similar size vise but likely lower grip. Also I don't have a good set up for ride tires on that track.

see you there then dude :-)

same here, we have an indoor asphalt track but lower grip and half the size of huge.

huge rc track has high grip conditions and they did a ride series race there last year.

i'll try to work on hagberg's set up tomorrow.
