may have been answered already, but I couldn't find it. What is the difference between the T3 and T4 sway bars?

The left swaybar is a T3 one and the right one is for the T4.

The center piece is 6mm shorter on the T4 version.

Ty

I asked as our club doesn't run to BRCA rules so I have a gens-ace 65c lipo going in, its a close fit but will suit me fine for a budget setup.

£35 posted for a new lipo seems good value to me!

If I have any problems i'll post them up if anyone else considers getting one too.

has anyone have an outdoor set-up asphalt set-up for a bumpy track with med to high grip. track is combination of flowing corners, 50 meter straights and 180 degree corners.

I currently run 2.9 springs all round, 350wt oil, 700 in diff. This set-up works well at night, but will be racing in heat of the day. Usually use Muchmore Rush 36, will be using a control tire, Ride REX34.

Would appreciate any thoughts on changes that one would make for daytime racing.

My T4 felt quite good to drive at the interclub round, though it was with a 10.5 then Mod, but I had like 2000cst in the rear diff, 300000cst in a front diff, something like 2.5 front and stock kit rear springs, 350cst shock oil, also lowered roll center up front, no idea if any of that would still be fast with a 17.5T though.

Oh and FX2 seemed horrible to me on the REX34, lots of grip at the start, faded badly by mid race regardless of how it was applied or heated, tyre Tweak seemed to give good grip and consistent feel though an entire run when applied and heated to 60C 15-20mins before race.

As the setup already works in colder conditions,I would just go with thicker shock oil for the beginning and see how it's going from there.

try mine, bumpy track with a flat out banked sweeper, you can lower the ride height, its only that height due to the sweeper, its still work in progress but its not far off the fastest guys at my club,if your racing in temps above 25c then go up on the shock oil 450 f 400 r,in temps above 30c i used 500 f and 450 r,let me know what you think

Define 'bumpy', slight undulations, bad joins in asphalt or 'would be better off with a buggy'

I run on a track with slight undulations in it, in 13.5 it's fine but you notice the bumps more in Mod.
I don't think I'd be running 2.9 springs all round if it's bumpy.
