TCXX is awesome. Arms and hubs are slop free. Highly precision machine. The only downfall is the price, it was a bargain when it was selling for $429, now it's around five big ones.

Yes they do drop directly in switching the inside bearing out. But just like the directions state for Tamiya cars to dremel some of the plastic off the steering knuckle for clearance. You have to do so with the HPI steering knuckles. BUT, you also have to slightly dremel a little of the C-Hub for clearance. I mean very little. If you don't dremel in both of these area's, The DCJ will hit. When installed it made the steering assembly way smoother. Hope this helps.

I need some help regarding putting some dcj on a tcxx. Have read that tamiya 417 or from spec r are a directly fit , but is it possible to fit the tcx dcj from spec r with a tcx roche front spool ?

Just bought a like new used TCXX. Excited to get it on the track. What is a good motor esc setup for a modified class? From pictures it looks like they use huge pinions. What is a typical gear ratio for a mid sized track?
