Korey, have thought about using a thicker chassis for carpet like we use to during the foam tire era.

don't bother using them...they are pretty useless...my orig set went bad in one battery pack..sorry to say.
not even sure HB includes them.

either go steel or put in DCJs....DCJ seem to be the best option.

Default HPI/HB acquired by Horizon

Wow, I didn't know till recently that Horizon just acquired HPI USA and Hot Bodies because they were near bankrupt in this economy. No wander why all the parts were slow to come by...they were in transitioning stages.

Default FRONT SPINDLE V2 SET (2pcs) 68489

FRONT SPINDLE V2 SET (2pcs) 68489

What do these do? It just says optimises the Ackerman steering characteristic. Does it make the steering smoother or sharper? More steering on entry/exit?

Does anyone know.

Cheers

Ah okay. Is it a must have part?
Does it improve the car dramatically or is it just a tuning part to fine tune the setup?

Nothing improves the car dramatically. It's all the small things that make the car fast around the track.
