I have seen afew different yokomo variants of the alu chassis plate around, i would wait for this one with the recesses and machined edges ....

All the packaged chassis pics above show the bottom. The bevel an recess is on the top. Yokomo would not say this on their product description:
" Further more, using black almight on surface, it will go perfectly with BD7 Black Series. This will also create luxurious feeling with bevel edge aluminium processing!! "

I got mine from Banzai.

Do you guys think the aluminum chassis will be best on high bite carpet or strictly for asphalt.

Du to the stiffness of the alum , I would think the would be mainly for carpet

At the moment I have the normal rear in my car again to test the difference. But I will take a photo when I switch back next weekend.
At this side it is not so much space between the motor mount at the linkage, but it is enough.
