Just picked up and built the car. New to on-road so I know things will happen, but these ball cups are pretty weak. Lightly touched a pipe at TQ yesterday a couple of times, and each time the turnbuckles shoved all the way in on the ball cup. Is there another manufacturers ball ends I can use in the meantime while I am trying to get this thing tuned, and setup?

I am thinking about adding the smj short shock towers to my 2015:

Is this a good option to improve the car. If so which shocks are considered the best? Yokomo slf 2016 or the X-ray t4 shocks?

Looking for a neutral setup for the car on medium to low grip asphalt. Have a practice session tomorrow and first race this weekend. I'm pretty much on the kit setup for carpet (TQ Racing) right now, and it was too twitchy. Need to dial out a bunch of steering (in addition to taking most of it out with the D/R setting on my radio). Any help would be great.

RSD also has these. PM Cristian Tabush on here for more info. He hasn't listed them yet. The 2016 Yokomo SLF II shocks are way better than the 15s and cheaper than the xray ones.

X-ray shocks are 2 euro cheaper than yokomo in Europe, so price is not the big difference. Just looking for some advice if it improves the car, stupid money if it doesn't

I have them on my 16 with no issues, have back to backed them a few times with the SLF2, have always gone quicker and easier to drive with the X-ray shocks, progressive inserts and Yokomo pink springs.
