The car is great box stock. There's only 2 blocks you'll maybe want for tuning one for the front and one for the rear. This should cover all the bases.

I'm not geometrically inclined but how is changing the arms to a different length differ from making the hinge pins closer/further away using the toe blocks? It seems to me like its a redundant tuning option. I could be wrong.

What I'm trying to achieve here is to be able to make my front/rear narrower or wider when I want to without overly getting unnecessary parts.

Shims and wheel hubs are good too since they don't change your shock angle positioning like what the option arms and mounts do.

The option arms are the same length, they just alter the bottom shock mounting positions so do not affect the overall width.

Isnt adding shims to a wheel hub completely different in terms of tuning to widening at the pivot block tho? especially on the front of the car as you are changing king pin angles when turning etc...

Try Meen V. Setup from RC Addict. Great starting point and just tweak ackerman and front camber link shimming to your liking. If you really think about it, his setup is just little tweaks to the box stock setup which is a testament to how inherently easy and dialed the car is.

I use the following on asphalt , which is what I used at TITC in feb this year, except rear toe. Shocks yokomo blue front and rear 350 wt oil, three hole piston. 3.5 toe blocks front front and front rear. On the rear I am using the kit toe blocks. ( For TITC I used the 4.2 block on the rear front and 5.7 rear rear, gives 1 degree of rear toe). This was running 13.5 blinky using the fixed HW BL motor and Justock ESC.

The rest of my setup was the same as meens TITC setup. Since returning home I have only changed the rear toe blocks to those listed above , occassionally changing the rear rear back to 5.7 from the 6.4 block.

I also changed the motor to a D3.5 Trinity 13.5 and am now still experimenting with gearing for our tracks.

Hi guys, which servo horn is everyone using ( which length) And does anybody know what the length of the yokomo aluminium ones are?

Also has anybody added an extra shim underneath the top deck for the central, middle top deck screw, there seems to be a gap between the motor mount part and the top deck..
