thanks, i will try again using spool with less epa...
if pin keep loose, also is good to use locktite on a set screw every time you take it apart, clean it up before apply a locktite again, and a bit sand paper sthe center of the pin.

anybody know is these parts will fit in the BD?

- Front Steel Diff Joint (ZS-501S)
- Rear Steel Diff Joint (ZS-502S)

also, could anybody refer me to an HK online shopping site that has the front dogbones available? or would the T2 51mm dogbones fit the Yokomo axle and outdrive (assuming i don't install the blades)?

Well, the pin was all locktite'd up
So I'm gonna try sanding the pin if it happens again, hope it works! Good idea anyway.

Voodoo: i dont know it the t2 outdrives will fit the BD but if you want to, you can try the one's on my t2 just to check. just have to remind me to bring it next race day.

Xray outdrives + Xray dogbones = Xray blades required :-)

Pinning is is easy, you just have to drill a hole through the narrow part of the oneway. A team colleg uses it that way but the whole unit is pretty heavy

Just got myself a BDM and wanted to know what is the base setup for the BD cars. Or a good starting setup for asphalt med but abbrasive grip. Track is fast/large with hairpins and i compare it to used in the 06 worlds in italy. it also came with duel oneways.

thanks

i bought xray T2-07 dogbone, blade and outdrive with cross pin connecting the two outdrive, make it still oneway but solid between left and right.
so far i knew:
-X-outdrive fit into Y-oneway housing with no modification.
-Y-dogbone compare to X-dogbone:
--Y-dogbone has bigger pin on the ball end side, so if use the X-blade, too tight no play at all (dremel the Y-ball end pin smaller, so X-blade can have enough play).
--Y-dogbone has smaller BALL end side part, so if you used X-outdrive with y-dogbone w/ X-blade, it will wobble, too much play. X-dogbone cannot fit Y-outdrive, because has bigger BALL end part.
--Y-pin and Y-steel tube smaller (connect to the axle), X-pin=2mm, Y-pin=1.5mm. so X-pin cannot fit into Y-axle.
ALL ABOVE BASED ON MY EXPIRIENCE, MAY BE SOMEONE HAS DIFFERENT IDEA...
-for me the most important, if want to use any kind of blade, dont forget, you have to dremel the aluminium part above the the blade, which hold the inner ball for turnbuckle (bottom side). blade only last 1 battery, because the blade hit that parts...

now iam using:
for oneway: yokomo one with blade. make outdrive SLOT wider so x-blade can fit in, and yokomo dogbone Ball end PIN smaller, so x-blade can fit in also.
for spool: yokomo oneway, glued it up the one way bearing with outdrive together, or use hpi pro4 aluminium spool (purple). also make slot wider...
i still cannot get yokomo aluminium spool...

would the diff with the thin blue ring around the ends be good enough for low turn brushless racing?

Hows the speedtech and team bomber spools?

tested it with a motor that is even harder than a 3,5T (won't say what it was). No problems at all

hi everyone

If i swap the rear 0.5 toe in hubs left to right, would that give me 0.5 toe out? So if i use that along with the 2.5 rear toe in block, that would give me 2.0toe in overall?

Would this be a good idea? or am i being stupid? I want less rear toe in for a high speed track in stock.

thanks
