I Have been away from racing for some time, and I would like to get back in the game.
I want to upgrade my old SD for this purpose with either the LCG conversion, CGM, or the Rayspeed kit.
Which would work better for carpet on foams?

The lcg is the most advanced of the three, but I have heard that they are notoriously floppy and tweak prone.
I plan to run on a somewhat rough , short carpet track, and Ill probably whack things with the car often.
So its a toss up between the stiffness of the cgm, or the advanced features of the lcg.
looks like it will cost me $120 to go cgm or about $300 for the lcg setup.
Im leaning towards upgrading to cgm, then maybe picking up a used lcg on ebay later on. $300 to update an old car seems a bit steep to me.

I wish they would make the steering mods I saw on masami's car. as well as c hubs and spindles and rear blocks.

They could always keep making the damn bits!
I dialled mine on carpet with rubber tyres with a hard chassis but then smashed it out doors and couldn't get another. BD is too floppy for high grip stuff. got rid of it and run 12th now
