Agreed. Although I don't need Masami's signature if I have to pay for it!

Does your box says BD MASAMI SPECIAL?
If so, signature of Masami should be there...

Default Great News

Guys the carpet conversion for the yokomo bd is in progress we tested the sample version last night and we were very proud of what we saw.We are going to be testing the chassie for a while longer before we decide on thickness and battery position.Any imput would be positive.

The Kit will come with nuckles, chassies, shock towers and top brace.

More to come

post some pics up...please...i'm anxious to see it...

my only suggestion is keep all screw holes the same as the regular chassis...servo, bumper front and rear, etc.

just a suggestion, make the battery slots the same as on the kyosho cars so we can use the kyosho battery tray's ( this will allow the user to decide battery location.) or at least the same size as the stock slots to use the Stock battery tray .

Default No Change

We are keeping evrything stock we are only playing with moving the batterys forward a small amount, this will give the car some needed turn in for the carpet. We are also considering a line of front sway bars desighned for carpet racing.

Local racer:

A narrower chassis and solid no cut out top deck would be nice.
I remember speedy made one for me before.. but some arse jacked my box full of chassis part at the park

BD with a thick chassis is super fast... just i can't wheel for sh`t

bomber top deck is 2.5mm. just a bit stiffer then stock.
if u want to run carpet with stock yokomo parts. then you should try the stiff chassis + stock top deck + bomber top deck.

Local racer - Please, Don't forget about the LCG drivers!! If I'm not mistaken, the LCG chassis is identical to the BD in terms of overall dimension and suspension mounting locations, hopefully easy for you folks to produce. The availability of a carpet chassis for these cars would encourage me (and many others I'm sure) to buy the BD also. No pressure though! Please keep us updated on the SD thread too if you don't mind.

Would it be posssible or has anyone fitting the TAM415MSX steering system to their BD's? I have done all the tricks to the BD system, CA around the flanged bearing and countersunk screw instead of buttonhead. But still have a lot of movement vertically which i think gives the car a twitchy feeling.
