Team Suzuki make all the Alu parts for the BD, LCG and BX - the took various hopups like the steering knuckles out of production when they started to make the Alu parts for those cars.

I believe there was another limited run of steering knuckles around 6 or 8 months ago but it seems to have run out.

Speed Racing make Alu knuckles for the SD/BD/LCG - I have 3 sets of these on my cars. They're not bad but can be a little brittle. Thier threads are stonger than the threads in the Graphite steering knuckles so if you ask me they're worth having just so you dont loose kingpins.

I'm just wondering if the TUBS are stil competetive? I was thinking of buying one. I'm pretty new to on-road so advice is very helpful.

From reading the Worlds Prediction thread that people are thinking the Yokomo BD is going to be a major factor at the worlds. I know as a longtime Yokomo fan it would be killer to have a Yok be world champ again. I also hope to see some of the new Easton type parts that have been on his car lately. Got my BD up to the Masami standard just in time for some more killer stuff....lol

Also I know Speedtech just got a ton of BD parts in stock. Masami Towers, White Springs, ect.

Jeff

I cant wait to get hold of the new ackerman gear he's had made up once its released. With all the 'worlds spec' parts im guessing there will be a BDW coming soon after the Worlds. Just as I bought the Masami edition!

Generally none of those come as spares with a new kit, but i've never needed to change things like toe blocks and the like anyway. Spings obviously you would need to change occasionally. All tuning hopups are easy to get from Yokomo's importer in Australia - Hobby Habit, you can contact them on (08) 8277 1111.

If you do get the BD make sure you get some spare ackerman plates and hinge pins. Because the arms on the car are so strong, the hingepins tend to take a beating if you hit something.
