Does anyone know when their 1/12 scale tires are comming out? What about what type of bearing will be needed(flanged or unflanged)?

Thanks

Well, I finally got to run my new GQ tires. I really like them, the wheels are sweet, very sturdy. I like the way the inside edge of the wheel is beveled, just enough clearanc to fit on ly yok. The wear looks very good as well. I ran about five to six packs on them and seen no signs of wear. I will have to check them with the calipers when I can, to actually see how much wear.

Thank you guys, your posts here and the PMs I received are very encouraging for us. I am working hard to get LHSs on broad so that GQ tires will be readily available.

The GQ with black rims in the pic a few posts back were 1st generation produced more than two years ago. I guess someone just put them on the e-bay to have some fun. The current production orange rim is stronger and better.

Wow, I have ran about 10-12 packs on these tyres and no chunks. I only wore the tires down about 1.7 mm. which is much better than what I was used to. Q'd 3rd finished 3rd, may have done better if I didn't get hacked on the first lap and a few later times.

Default carpet foam

Ok guys, I know the carpet season is practically over, but I need to order a couple of sets of foam to run mod. Just ran mod foam for the first time today, it's a lot of fun, I don't know why I messed with rubber tires all season????

So what's the hot ticket? Red/Magenta, Magenta?

What is the equivalent of dbl pink?

thanks,
Dom

Dom,

I am running black/grey and grey with good sucess.

I came from the dbl pink world, I think you'll like it better than the magenta combo, I think it actually has too much grip.

Yeah I have ran both tires and I am currently running the black/grey combo and I think it's a good place to start. The magenta/red is a little on the sticky side but tire wear was still good.

Kansasracer, I hope you got that kit sold. I wish I could have bought it. Thanks anyways.

I actually still have it....

Have any of you guys tried the GQ Nitro foams yet?

Are the shore rates comparible on with other tires?

I've been using them on carpet with an EP car. They work excellent.

If you're asking for outside / nitro stuff, there's a GQ thread going over on the nitro onroad forum.
