Ok I am putting together a vta running a 2015 t4 what gearing is everybody ranging from for a track of about 115 straight also is there a spec motor or it's what ever roar approved 12.3 25.5t motor

your FDR and Timing on your ROAR approved 25.5, depends on what motor you pick from the list.

Spec 25.5 Motors

3.6 is a good start, with 40 deg time

Damn so the trackstar v2 isn't on the list well that sucks was hoping to use that till I get a motor hopefully the club will let it slide for a bit

yeah all in good fun and to give a show...no harm no foul. We had a great day and a really good turn-out for a reg club race...glad to see everyone there...especially out of town guys coming to play.

I sure want to see if the new tires are the same as the old tires as far as traction. If they are better, then I'm throwing out my old ones. If they are worse, then I'll hoard the old ones until they are worn to the nubs. Best case scenario is they are exactly the same.

my testing says they are very close to the same once broke-in...good news is our track has the most ridiculas traction most have ever seen...and Im not gluing the sidewalls like the HPI....5 races and lots of practice and no glue...great work PF

no carpet tracks in Arizona.....so, gluing takes away traction?

Our testing has shown they are right on pace with HPI. No sidewall glue needed on black carpet as Myron said, which is a plus. On asphalt, they may take a few runs to break in but just keep applying additive (thinner additives like mighty gripper, SXT 3.0 etc work best) and grip will start to come up.

Prevents the sidewall from rolling over and grip rolling the car.

no glue needed on the vta tires.
