You can use your soldering iron to loosen it up. Just touch the tip of the iron to the screw head for a brief moment, maybe 2-3 seconds(careful not to touch any plastic around the screw) and see if it loosens up at all. If not hold it on there a little longer, but not too much or you can risk melting some of the plastic around the screw. This has worked for me a few times.

I recently sent an email to Orion about possibly getting their WTS Lipo offered in a 5000. Due to the ease of adding weight to the battery side with it. I explained how USVTA is the largest growing on road class in RC right now and today got this response.
"Hi,
I will transfer this info to our product development guy. Sounds like an interesting new development in RC.

So we will see, maybe we will have another battery option soon.

Just received another reply to a suggestion/request for USVTA bodies from Jconcepts....inparticular the 67-70 firebird. Here is the response..
"Thanks for your suggestion on the on-road bodies, it is something we have
considered adding to our line-up in the future."
So maybe we can look forward to more bodies in the future as well. I know Id love to run a Pontiac....my first car was a 69 Firebird so would bring back lots of memories for me.

Anyone run the Associated/Reedy Wolfpack 5000 lipo that can tell me if it comes with the leads to plug into it? Looked on site and through amain and cant see it say either way. Was looking at getting the Gen ACE but need to order other stuff so figure might as well just get it all at amain and get a discount. Almost ordered the ECO battery due to price but thinking Id be happier with a little more "higher end" battery. tossing back and forth between the Wolfpack and the Protek.
Also buying a balancer and going with the equinox balancer to use with my ICE charger.
