Those of you who wanted to keep their Roar approve 25.5 motor in spec class .just maybe ,why not have the Outlaw VTA or USGT for them.

Yah, Let’s just add another class and dilute the system! What a novel idea

Really they lowered the weight again? Since we have two different brands of tires why not just add the. HPIs back in.

It is what it is. Instead of evolve rc racing your simply just dumbing it down. On carpet i can see spec motor. Asphalt not so much. Maybe my inexperiece speaking...?
I typed a 6 paragraph response and than thought I'd just be wasting my breath

The VTA cars with the new rules should be same speed or faster than even just one year ago.

The new Gravity tires are much improved, the 20g lighter weight, and the new motor is not really far off from a full timing 25.5. It will still suck to newcomers (the speed will not drop much), but there is now reduced cost. (Tires that last longer in "prime" condition and a $85 motor that won't need updating).

would showing up with a 1970 daytona hemi high wing car that never ran in the trans am series be considered ignoring the rules and thinking they don't apply to them?
cause it happened . some comments are based in history...
