Has anyone purchased an unmounted set of the Gravity tires? Do the beads match the PF's? Mounted they almost look like the rims have no outer wall similar to and 1/8th scale buggy or truggy. Just trying to see if I can put them on my PF wheels?

Got the answer. I forgot VTA tires had that goofy double bead. They should be compatible with the PF wheels.

EA is selling his remaining stock of Protoform VTA tires at $15 a pair.

Only one carpet track in CA that I know of - about 3 1/2 hour drive from me. Lots of asphalt VTA drivers here.

I purchased the unmounted set and they fit perfectly on HPI’s rims which should work on PFs as well

Only Carpet Track I know of in SoCal is in El Centro. A lttle over an hour from San Diego. We have two Parking Lot Programs locally and Cal Raceway about an hour and a half drive north... VTA is popular here... But we pay extra for the weather!!

Ouch .... 9 hours from me, still don't need carpet focused VTA tires.

I believe that if the demand for asphalt tires is high enough Paul would do a compound for that, also on medium to high grip outdoor tracks they should work now..... I would think

I've been told by a creditable source that they should work well on asphalt. Just have yet to see, or put them to the test at our track.

Well they don't work very well on our concrete/paint surface and what's weird is that the USGT tires work GREAT on our surface. I was hoping the Gravity VTA tires would use the same compound as the USGT tires.

Still too wet and cold here. Haven't heard anything from the 1 guy I know who has some. Waiting to here yay or nay till I buy. Other tires need replacing before these. Mine seem to work and roll around in a circle.

That is interesting. We have the same situation. USGT is smokin' fast. Verge of traction roll when grip is up with my USGT. I generally run three classes. TC, USGT,& VTA. VTA is just a weird animal, at least for me anyway...

Lets try this. Front and rears after about 1100 laps on newer black carpet.

I'm not familiar with how tires wear on Rug, but that looks impressive to me...
