There is an important footnote to 19 Turn. As we previously reported, Brian Jucha had TQ'd the class in the final run. However, after the race his run was DQ'd due to a motor illegality.

It's VERY important that people understand why this happened. He was running a Trinity C2 motor, and although the armature was found to be 100% legal and untampered, it was missing the tag. Scotty was clear at the drivers' meeting before the race that only official, untouched C2 or Reedy Quad Mag motors would be allowed, and the missing tag made it illegal. Regardless of whether it came that way from the factory, it was determined to be the racer's responsibility to make sure the motor was legal.

It pained Scotty to make the decision but he had to go with the rules he had laid down.

Interesting that Paul Lemieux is running a Pro 4???

I thought he had signed with Kyosho....is the Pro4 representing a non-Associated shaft drive for him to get used to so he'll be more ready for the TF-5??
