Default KO ESC/Servo wiring question

I have a KO ESC ( VFS 2000) that I am trying to set up with my Airtronics receiver (Z type). Can anyone help me with the correct wiring for the Airtronics receiver? I have checked several websites and they each list a different color sequence, I dont want to damage the ESC and the instructions included in the box does not mention using anything othere than KO equipment.
Thanks for the help

Black is the ground wire, and on an Airtronics Z type connector you'd want it to go closest to the edge of the receiver nearest the sockets. Red is the positive, it goes in the middle, and white (or whatever the third color is for a KO ESC) goes furthest from the edge of the receiver case. The Z connector wiring sequence should be the same as the KO, Futaba, and JR. Only the older Airtronics used a different wiring sequence in the connectors.

Yeah, the Futaba "J" connector wiring pattern has become the modern standard lately, so it makes it a LOT easier to just plug in a servo & go.....
