If pitting inside (charged 30) no tent, table or chair needed, if inside on the off-road track (table and chair)...

If you are driving in, I would strongly recommend bring a chair, as my back is sore from the the chairs they have. But I'm old...

Oh and a motor with very long legs....

He's not kidding about the gears either. For 17.5 TC, think more like you normally do for VTA. For VTA, think creatively about how low (numerically) of a ratio your car is capable of. This is a big track and even though they will change the current layout, it is still going to be fast. Otherwise, the setup won't be that much different than carpet. The track is very smooth and will be well prepped.

You may want to spring for the premium pit spots. You can pit on the indoor dirt track but it is stuffy, humid and dusty in there and you may need to bring your own table and chair. You could also pit outdoors but you'll have to schlepp a lot of stuff for that. The premium pit spaces are small but provide everything you need. They are just under 2' x 4'. I keep a lot of stuff under the table in my big box. Several guys have built themselves "risers" that provide extra shelf space going up from the table.

Make sure you have ball cap with a good visor and a good pair of sunglasses. The driver's stand faces almost directly West and when the sun starts to set, it can be a real challenge on sunny days.

That's all I can think of for now. Hope it helps.
