CR250-I have seen many of your post as well and while most of them have knowledge to say or agree that there are a TON of 440+ cells is a lie.I dont care how you word it,put it,say it or paint it for all that matters. This was a false statement and I wanted to make sure guys didnt get their feathers ruffled over false statements.

I didnt mean it as a personal attack but looking at how I worded it I can see how that could have been taken. It wasnt towards YOU personally but the statement you had made.
So I appologize for anything towards you as a person but for your statement I still stand behind what I said.
SPC's latest batches(Within the last 2-3 weeks) may be showing some cells in the 440 plus but for the last 5 months we havent seen 440+'s.VERY RARE.So to say they are available all the time is a FALSE statement otherwise a lie.

Im not trying to be hard either.I simply made a statement that was true and I have about 10 matchers that can back up what Im saying.440+ cells are VERY rare right now or up till these current new cases out right now.So you will see440-450's in your hobby shop soon hopefully. You may in the next couple of weeks. But for the last 5-6 months.NO.Sorry.

Again I appologize if you took it personal but it was simply over the statement made.
Have a Happy Holidays and let's get back on track about the POST itself.

GP3700's will NOT make you go out and buy new cells. If I were racing any class for the next year I would still be buying 3300's.
If you race Mod Sedan or Mod 1/12th scale and then time comes when these cells are legal then SURE you might wanna upgrade. But for all other classes to freak out and think they need these new cells is just stupid(I could have used a different word but WHY).People get SOOO caught up in the hype of the industry they miss out on real racing.

P.S.You say you dont wanna be difficult but then you say HIS LAWYER wouldnt like that I said he was dishonest.
Can you please let me know where I said such a thing?
I never said anything about SPC but that he might help you out.
How is this me saying he has false #'s?

Again-This post is about Gp3700's.
I simply dont like it when someone makes ANOTHER false claim in saying I said something about SPC another matcher which was simply UNTRUE and a LIE.

Comment By CR250-I do have the matching (RC) experience you stated that I didn't and I have seen the cells you are questioning. It is TRUE!
Problem is your going against what you said.I didnt say they werent seen.I didnt say we didnt see ANY of them.I said they are very rare.If you wanna go back and read what YOU WROTE it says that they are ALWAYS AVAILABLE which is False and LIE.
Might wanna be sure you get your wording right on your own post before firing back on someone that simply stated your claim of 440+ cells being readily available to be false.
Nothing against you personally just your now statments. So being you have experience matching cells and so on you should have known this.Unless your matcher is in need of recalibration.

I know this probally jacked up this thread a lil and I appologize.I just wanted to make it VERY clear that the statements by 2 people posting were not true.

GP3700's
Please understand what John is saying. For american racers mainly the 3700 will be illegal at any Roar Sanctioned event.
Im sure other Sanctioned events will have the same feeling here in the states.I can not speak for other countries.

The GP3300's are great cells at a HUGE discount of what we paid in the past for Nicads that were compariable.

Goodluck to everyone racing or bashing.
Happy Holidays.

Hi Guys,

I race 12th mod, I need cells now, bring em on. I'm going to have to get some 3300's as the new ones won't be legal for a year but I'm hurting for run time right now. Since when has more run time been a bad thing?

As John says, the good matchers who know thier business will look at the new cells as an opportunity, not a problem and they will make sure they are in a good business position when they come around. Maybe they will be a little more expensive, so what's new.

Any matcher issues people think they have will not change with the new cells. A surge guy on a different thread put it very well. Find a matcher you like, stick with them and build a good trusting relationship. There are good ones out there who are honest and knowledgable and are only too happy to help you. John Malin and his guys are definitely in that group.

Chris

Chris-Your right.Bring them on if they have the same performance.
I think you will like the newwer batches of cells coming out Chris.About 10-20 seconds more runtime than the cases from the past 6 months.
Goodluck racing in 2005 and Happy Holidays.

i ahve seen 8 packs from racerhobbies that were all 1.187+ and 445+ runtime. they were the packs that alex sturgeon ran at stock nats this year in truck and buggy. of course he is sponsered by them so he got the best of the best. all i know is he let me borrow them and they were just balistic

Your right he did have those packs back at the stock nats.
Alot of matchers had them at that particular time too.
The problem is the latest batches while great on IR and voltage were down on runtime.
We were just making comments on the last 6 months and the claim that 440+'s have been easy to get over that time which was a false claim.

3700's will be great if their performance is that of the GP3300's with just more runtime.

CR250-Your killing me here.
Your being very OPEN with your answers but your not answering what I said you were dishonest about.

You said:
The first time I saw high runtime/voltage cells from SPC were in February of 2004. Fact!
Nice but thats a lil OPEN of an answer there.High runtime cells have been out since the SHORTY cells.
But you claimed that 455's were regular and the average was 425-430 which is simply NOT TRUE.
Even your bud advertises cells as 400+.If the average was 425-430 wouldnt he put 420+ being that is supposedly the norm?

Your the one who agreed with SpeedieXL saying that 455's were available ALL THE TIME which is a VERY false statement.Heck I know matchers that match 20 or more cases a month(8000+ Cells) that didnt see 200-300 of these cells since GP came out with the 3300.

Thats all I said you were dishonest about till the claim about SPC.

You Stated:
daniz24 - I understand your skeptisim, however the numbers are true . I know the owner of SPC and his first priority is HONEST cell numbers. He told me the average discharge time at 30 amps, for the new GP 3300 cells is around 425 to 430 seconds.

I dont know any matcher over the last 6 months that have AVERAGED 425-430 cells.Thats less than 10-20% of the cases if not less in most of those months.
I also state this claim to be false being the average is more like 400-420.
I know ALOT of guys who read these threads and when people POST claims like this that are untrue it really makes them get mad at matchers when that matcher claim to sell them high voltage/high runtime cells to only show 425/1.18's being 440/1.18 cells to be VERY rare.

CR250-Care to state it right?
Care to say that 455 runtime cells are readily available?
Care to say that MOST of the cells over the last 6 months for matchers have averaged 425-430 runtimes and think it's truth?
Because this is what you stated in past post which I said your claims were UNTRUE......
455's havent been seen if so its less than 2% and thats not READILY available.
We have seen some nice 425-430's but to say that is the average is simply UNTRUE.
Now if you will post again backing up statements in which you posted early on this board go ahead. But if your going to post what you did and not come forward with what YOU HAD SAID then please dont.Your OPEN BOOK answers show how false your claims were.

I am now done.Because I wanted to post the TRUTH.
Sorry for the postings but it had to be said to make sure that the false claims stated were challanged since they are untrue.
