Kenny, could you elaborate a little on your side spring setting. Are they touching the chassis when the car is sitting on your table?
Thanks in advance

Yes they have small amount of preload. If you back screws all the way out then go 2 1/2 turns down they just touch w/tiniest bit of load and tweak on tweak stand from there. I always tweak from rear of car so the motor pod is facing you on board. Hope this helps. I'm always running and testing so any questions post them up if I can't answer I'm sure whopper or dumper will be able to. We are all more than willing to help out CRC customers.

Your car looked great this weekend. All that hard work is paying off.

Any chance someone could measure a high roll centre pivot ball as used on the Gen Xi steering block and tell me how tall it is please?

dumper noted a little while back that there was a surprise in the first run boxes but also noted he couldn't say what the surprise was.

Since the 1st round boxes are shipping(ed) this week, someone surely must have theirs already.

Could anybody who got their kit say what the surprise is?

Wondering because my kit won't be here until Monday and, though the kit itself will be a treat, I crazy to know what the surprise is. Anyway, I sure am looking forward to the new car!!!

I'm looking at purchasing the new Xi. Will I need to order the shorty 1s parts or do they come in the kit? I'm pretty sure it's an extra but just want to be sure.

The Kit comes with all the inline pieces but the conversion you will need to buy the shorty inline piece separate.

Whole kit part #3203 (comes with everything)

Conversion #3206 (chassis, new steering blocks, 1/8 axles, 1/8 bearings, Servo mounts, and turnbuckles)

Shorty inline #3207 (stand offs, hardware, and carbon brace)

Thanks for the quick replies, I just ordered. Now to patiently wait for the shorty batteries to become available and then I can pick up a few and update my current gen-xl.

Is anyone using the front cross brace or long arm setup with the new car?

Thanks,
Carter
