Pan cars have been running foam on pavement ever since they were invented. The few attempts at a rubber tire never caught on because grip was still better with the foam. So long as you take a little bit of time to prep the track it works just fine. Back when I first started racing pan cars all we did was blow off the track with a leaf blower. And on Fri/Sat nights we would practice in a super market parking lot with no prep. Grip wasn't super high but it was good enough. I'm not sure what happened but it seems lately that getting grip on asphalt with foam has been more and more difficult and the tire wear is higher. Still getting grip on asphalt is not only possible but done quite regularly at parking lot races all over.

I got killed, car handles great but never found the sweet spot for speed.
Kinda heavy too.

Hey Sean, will you save me a pair of front tires and a bottle of Jack if you got it? I'll see you again on Saturday for UF1.

Glad we stumbled onto a solution for the spurs.

So Rod, where/when, you gonna run it, maybe in a couple weeks at TQ?
Carpool in the Interceptor if you're down.

The RM01 can already keep up with the more performance oriented 1/12s? I can't wait until we see a TRF version.

Thanks Mike.

I've always thought 12th blinky is more about setup and driving, than equipment, at least on the club level.

The RM-01 matched the fast lap of my R5.
Now a bit more tuning to keep the efficiency for 8 mins.

The Kit fronts, though easy to drive, have a bit more understeer than I care for.

Going to test the Tamiya Option fronts next week...

We need to put Cudas' car on a diet, it's 120g over weight.
That's a lot for a car that is supposed to weigh in at 730g-race ready.

Sounds about right.

That steel rear axle is the culprit.
