Thanks

Mike-this set-up is for the mid motor "normal" car.

How does the JRXS feel compared to an RDX? Which do you like better? Thanks

Thumbs up

Me and one other guy tried this setup last night... everything except the shock oil. Very nice went from 10.5's to 10.3's. Now the only major thing that different between the setup I was running and this one was top shock position. Going to try the oil next week.

Thanks Paul!!!

I am not using it on the mid motor car. Just the rear motor car.

Hope to see you at the champs.

Sorry I never ran rubber tires. From what I hear the Neuman setup is good. I would start there.

They drive completely different. Its hard to explain. I am driving the Losi right now and for the Champs because Paul's set-up is so good and the cars really fast.

Do you know what setup Paul was running in modified at the Halloween race? I saw that he made the A-main with it...that's awesome.

automater-Paul is a fulltime Mod stud these days, but he steps back on practice days when us JRXS guys start whining, you know-its pushing here or its loose, or its falling off at end of run..whaaaaa!!! He runs stock for two or three days and uses his son Buddy to be the crash test dummy. Then voila-new stock set-up

I didn't have time to switch last night to this new Paul C setup. But I did get to try some things from my setup which is listed a few pages back that's based off Paul's last strock setup. I just can't seem to break the 6.8 sec mark on the laptime. I'm stuck there. Anything I try just feels different but laptimes arn't changing. BOOO.

Maybe I should propose a layout change.

If your laps are 6.8 that is about half the time it normally takes to get around a track. So if you make a change that is .1 faster on a normal size track you might not get any faster on an a smaller layout even though the car feels better/different.

6.8 is not much time to do much of anything unless you are Ray or Buddy.

Paul
