Gil Jr. should get credit for alot of things, not only the camber link mods, ! haha
It's like when the TC3 first came out and none of the team A/E guys could get a handle on it and were doing poorly. Cliff Lett came out and got them up to speed in only a couple races.
Gil Jr. has the same effect for the TeamLosi crew, i've seen it time and time again, it's no fluke.
Cliff and Jr are like the R/C professors and there are alot of others, like Hodge, Wenger, etc who are in the class, but most of us haven't even been accepted to the school yet and our resume is being revued at best, hahaha.

Todd, already made up my pieces for the front camber link mod, and got it installed on the car. Will find out how it works on Friday's practice day for the Halloween race.
BTW, for anyone who doesn't have any Losi 0 deg castor blocks to cut up, I used some old TC3 stock graphite 0 deg castor blocks. Plenty of those lying around, as they were never used on the car.
As for measurements for where to drill the hole for the turnbuckle, I drilled 10 mm in from the 'back' edge of the cut up arm. Meaning, the edge opposite from where the hole for the shock is molded in. The arm itself is cut off just at the 'edge' of the molded rib where the shock mounts. You want to keep this as thick as possible while still having a flat surface to drill into for the turnbuckle.
The pic shown by JRXS Bill shows alot of dremeling and rounding of the rear edge of the arm. Not sure why, as my Parma 28 mm foam tires easily clear both sides of the arm with no trimming required. Only trimming necessary is to make more clearance for the top of the C block when you compress the suspension.
I could see this mod being more difficult for people running on asphalt, as generally more suspension travel is needed and the C block will tend to hit the cut off piece of A arm on top of the C block. But running foam tires on carpet, you only need 5-6 mm of suspension travel total.
The new A arms are coming out soon, now Losi needs to make some new C blocks to incorporate this new camber link mod, without having to hand make the parts

Is that a a arm cut down on the camber link mod? I keep looking at that pic and that is what it seems to be.

Yes, it's a stock lower A arm cut down, and the bottom part of a 0 deg caster block, that's screwed to the top of the caster block you are using on the car. Don't forget to put in another metal bushing in the added piece of caster block when you put the screw down thru it into the steering knuckle!
