I can turn my front end lock-to-lock with no chattery.

First off...Is it a brand new car? Todd previously gave info about that issue.

If not new, I'm just guessing...
- Damaged LVD
- Bent dogbone
- Damaged steering servo

what did todd say, is it that the c hubs having to be ground out? i suppose that running foam would have more stress on the car and i would have to replace or rebuild them more often?

If the LVDs were initially chattery on a NEW car, Todd's suggestion was to run it for a short time and check to see if the issue subsides.

Gotta think that dialogue is more than 100 pages back on this thread. Was soon after the car was available.

Otherwise, I assume that the next step would be to teardown the LVDs to check for something amiss.

Also make sure your rims are not hitting the bottom shock screws when turned all the way.

Any one tried Andrew Gray's Sonwbirds setup. I think I will start with that and go from there. What about running BK mounts on carpet w/ foams. I don't think they'll work on the front.

Andrew's setup should be very good. Fast and easy to drive....a definite winning combination. As for the BK mounts....they will not work on the front with 28mm foam tires. On the rear they will work however I have never tried them.

Where is a copy of Andrew Grey set up, went to JXRS and Team Losi site and no dice. Also tried to do a quick search on the thread.

Anoyone have it that could post it. I'm currently running Paul C. set up and like it a bunch, would like to see any subtile differences between them.

Thanks.

Cool My first outing.

Losi guys,
I have to tell you the JRXS is the best car I have ever driven. It was smooth and flawless the first time out in race conditions. It had everything I could ever want and more.
We raced on concrete with the stock setup sheet and just moved the rear shocks in one hole on the top. I ran 5.5 mm ride height.
My stock car outran all of the mod guys except the top two and outran all of the nitro guys.
It wasn't even funny how well this car held corner speed.
BTW- I have a 05' Xray, MTX-3 and 1/12 scale Corally. The JRXS holds its own!
NICE JOB LOSI!
