can't know everything that's going on, can we ? Back to the subject, I found the car very well engineered and regarding the stiffness of the diff (as i feared at the begining), TL have done a pretty good job so nothing to fear there.

New losi IMHO is more a car for US style tracks, not sure how it will perform on the UK style open tracks. Rick

I don't expect this car to TQ in every time on the track. It's not like Losi has had a base car for setups....like AE has with the TC3 which is now the TC4. It's gonna take more time. I think we all expect too much....too soon.

Well said. Racer's are going to struggle in the beginning with prototpye cars. This is all new for Losi...

Default Ha...

that's a bunch of BS. If the pro's are having a difficult time driving it then can you imagine the rest of us.

The new car sounds good in theory, but if the car can only handle certain track types that's not going to be a good thing. Do you want to gammble with $250+. Not me.

Back to the XXX-S plateform drawing board.

You guys think that professional drivers never struggle with their cars? Even Formula 1 and NASCAR drivers can have a bad race. Getting to know a car and how setup changes affect it take time.

A lot of the naysayers on here either sound like fanboys or are being just plain ignorant. Being critical of the performance of a car you've never seen is just plain stupid.

Default Jessh, of course the earth is not flat...

if you put your eye next to the ground it's not flat! That's for sure.

Futureal, you just mentioned in the TC3-vs-xray thread:
"Especially a magazine? Yea, doing this for a living, we must really have no idea what were talkking about. Ha Ha."

I got my information from this RC magazine artical from the UK about the new car. They do it for a living and they must be right. Right? Stupid? Very harsh.

It's funny reading people bagging about this new car when they've not even seen it let alone drive it in real life. It's also funny how those who dislike the car constantly complains that they should've kept the xxx-s and modified it.
Remeber people's reaction when they saw the tc4? Many thought it's too similar to tc3. So if they do a modified version of the old car- people complain. If they do a brand new, completely different car- people complain. god, they sure are hard to please!

Default Yep, everbody has a different idea of what they...

want in a tc. It's a matter of give and take. Perhaps it will be a great TC. Only time will tell.
