Here's a pic of my car. I'm open to suggestions to better the layout. Sorry this is a older pic. I already make one change. I switched my wire to 16 gauge wire. I'm thinking to rotate the speedo to shorten wires? And I might try smaller cap on speedo? I run stock class now,but I'm thinking to run mod this year.
Speed congrats on big win and thanks for all the help you and Doug gave me to get my car dailed... I really like this car. Last season was my first year running a 12th scale. I won a few races against some very good drivers who have been racing that class for a long time...

you can't go wrong with this car... the qaulity of the kit is second to none... I have had others where the counter sinks weren't done properly.. not with the Q12... its great.

the balance of this car is awesome as well.. and not having to use tape is a blessing..

akrcracer--The big cap for the Q2 isn't needed. I use the small one for 1/12 mod. You could ditch the heat sink to save a little weight too. 16g wire will be just fine as 1/12 cars add very little amp draw. I love the European 14g stuff myself but it is hard to find in the U.S. It would be like 15g in U.S. wire but no one makes that.

It looks as if all the PRC factory team will be attending the Indoor Champs in Cleveland this year. So if your there look us up. The room will be under my name.

Adam thanks for input. It's a good idea to ditch the heat sink & big cap. I left them on when I moved it from my touring car. I said in a eariler post you were running more angled tubes. Did you cut standoffs down some? I'm a little a afraid touch car. It felt so dailed the easy to drive at the end of last season. But I don't mind to try some thing new. I run losi hydra med in tubes and fill them up before every race night. I'm going to put my car on a diet.
Clint I like your logo a few posts back it's cool. It's good to see Tim Stamper here too. He was kind enough to share some info on tuning stock motors for 12th scale. When I started running the class.
