I think the servo might not be mounted on the chassis.

Thx for the info on the new car.

I'm pretty impressed. I wonder why the drastic change change though over the XXX-S. They must have their reasons for changing it so much. Some of which might be the batteries weighing more so by center the batteries and motor it will take alot of that torque steer away.

I dont believe the xxxs had torque steer. It was just unbalance much like the rest of the battery on one side and elec. on other.

I'm not a Losi fan at all but this car is awesome. Just give them some time to figure out setups and all the new stuff the car can do and it will be one of the top cars in no time. I don't care for Losi but I will have one because I think it is that nice and will work.
Did it have the Tamiya shocks (what it looked like in the francis pic), Losi threaded shocks or some new design? I wanna be able to keep my assortment of springs.

I saw Andrew Gray(good guy) at 'the track' in md today with his new xxx-s2. Awsome car, he let us hold it and play with the suspension and so-on and answered my Q's about it. This car is going to beat the crap out of the TC4. If your thinking about getting the TC4 WAIT for the xxx-s2.

burbs - I don't want to be responsible for getting Andrew Gray into trouble. He was nice enough just to let us hold it and play with it. That's my take anyway.

Default My question is why are they...

waiting? Seems several have seen it at some larger tracks, so it's no secrete now.

Someone chime in here, but having a centered battery location really make a difference with an on road car? Off road, I can see having jumps and etc. I under stand that, but won't it make the chassis seem twitchy? I don't know how Losi could have done it without craming everything. Heating up would be my concern with hotter mods. I hope they stay with a molded tunnel chassis with a very simple build design.

The original xxxs was way too heavy. The new car is better in every way in my opinion. No molded chassis. The spring package will most likely stay. The is my opinion.

You will probably be able to use the same LOSI springs, but with all the geometry changes you will most likely end up using different rates.
