FW05R - the new VFS now has 64 frequency stages instead of 32 (compared to the old one). so you can really really fine tune the ESC. if you run a lot of mod, they have more frequencies that help runtime. robert told me they did this because in japan, heats and mains are 8mins for both stock and mod.

like dave said.. everything is getting smaller, the new VFS when paired up with the new helios receiver (KR-302F) only takes up the same amount of space as two quarters. :sneaky:

robert... the "J" version of the VFS-1 is the same as the VFS-2000 right? correct me if im wrong, but it saves a little bit of battery for use with steering just in case your batteries just all of sudden dump

WoW Heibiki thx for the great info sounds like VFS1 is a winner already:nod:

One thing I've noticed about the KO escs is that it seems like NOONE runs them in off road. Aren't they suitable? Obviously since traction is more of an issue I doubt the super fine tuning is as noticable... But still, if I replace one of my QC2s with a VFS-1 it'd be nice if there were some premade profiles to use for off road...

I think i'll just stick with my vfs 2000 for a while , i will definetly get it eventually (might get it for a xmas present  :D ) when it's out in england (UK)

Will the Hara Twister be updated to the new specs as well or maybe a Twister2 version be released?

My understanding is that the Pro and J version are the same, because now you can set the BEC voltage. The pre-setting on them is different but can be changed to be the same. The only major difference is the wiring. The J version comes pre-wired with Tamiya style plugs.

The Twister will be updated to the new VFS-1. Expect color changes from the VFS-1.

im with Mr.nuke up there i hope they dont blow up as much as my vfs2000 , because that has blow a few times for no apparent reason in dry conditions. It also didnt even have any of the normal affects of blowing like smoke or heat, it jsut worked one race and not the other

The BEC can be set from 2.5V to 4.0V. I tried to email you but it was returned.

Mr. Nuke blew his up due to user error and misunderstanding.
