Jconcept sell chassis protector. They use 3M material. Associate has them too but they use differe material and I don't know what it is from.
I preferred the one from associated. It handle asphalt track batter then the jconcept sheet.

Back from DHI Cup, the car was very good but not so much the driver. I finished 22th in mod. Maybe B-final would be possible with some better driving. I used standard parts.
Fischer and Erhbar also tested a new servo mount incorporated with the steering posts, looked good but I don´t know if they used it the whole weekend.
Looking forward to the new kit, it´s a real winner.

For a bit more new car drumming up... From Micheal Salven over on FB, pretty much confirming the new S411 2.0 is going to be called Eryx.
Can't wait

Hi.
Also back from the DHI Cup. Rasmus had a good result. 13th in modified and 18th in superstock with a standard S411 Sport. My youngest Mads ended up as 63rd in superstock at his first big event.
We were sitting just on the other side of the table from Marc and David. Both drove the new S411 2.0 Eryx, which is the name of the new car. Eryx is a snake too - like the Cobra. Google it. The new car will be available in two weeks from now. Serpent just need to get all parts together.
Almost everything on the car has been optimized. It looks good - and it looks really fast on the track.
I can't wait to have one and to built it.

One small and important cuestion, is there any weight reduction in the drivetrain?? Gear differential it's quite "fat" and it's the same for the front spool.
cheers

my wife brought home a sample of material i wanted to use. was a low tac film that was quite thick. though there was no interest in my local club cause apparently another guys vinyl ones were more desireable.
might send her with my te chassis one day for a template. i dont care about printed crap on my chassis, i want it to survive ha.

chassis protector
If your looking for the material for a chassis protector try a local car dealership, paint shop or detail shop, there is a product they use on new cars call a chip guard. Its a thicker clear sticker material that they use to protect the nose on a car from rock chips. Our local Toyota dealership is where I got mine.
It could also be available at a RV shop for a chip guard on the front of trailers.

New stuff for the differential: internal gears all made in plastic, crosspin in plastic, outdrives in aluminium. Weight reduction: about 9-10 grams.
Frontspool is still the same I think, but you can use the nylon spool, if you want a lighter one.
Total weight reduction for the whole car is about 25-30 grams.
And for "RavensNightFury" - the new name is "Serpent S411 2.0 Eryx".
