I have looked around but can't find any how-to guides for rebuilding or tuning micro motors. I know all about tuning regular 540 motors but I don't even know how to open a micro motor or adjust the timing or anything.

Can anyone tell me where to look or offer some suggestions?

this applies to the speed 300 (i.e. graupner, wattage 370, big block, chubby). they're all the same motor, but if you have a hobby people near you stock up on the wattage 370's. they're around $10
