Hara's mysterious battery charging aid
While at nationals, I was told Hara was using some magic voodoo battery charging device. From what I was told, the device sat underneath the battery and helped get a better charge into the battery. I never got a look at it myself, but a few factory drivers told me about it.....not to mention the crazy ass rip Hara's car had (don't tell me it was the V2.....)
Curious if anyone knows anymore about the device, maybe a picture or where to get one.

Not according to the guys I talked to.....it doesn't connect to the charger in any way....some said it kinda looked like graphite plate.

Here's pic. I can see the black plate, but I don't think its something special.

Probably just something to keep the cells from overheating, maybe he is using a higher charge rate than normal. I run 4 cell mod oval and we charge at 6 amps.

Jeff, hmm, that sounds like an arm that Orion have had for a while. It apparantly gives them serious RPM, then they gear very very low and the overall effect is a very fast car.
I have seen that used for 12 turn in Europe. Fairly sure it isn't actually available to buy though.

im not sure if youre talking about this but it could be.
this thing is new from TN Racing Japan it looks like a thin rectanglar plate with spirals all over it in rows.
they claim that it collects the electrical waves between the + - poles which creates part of the heating when batt is being charged thus allowing a better chrged pack....better results when sandwiched between two of these plates
so it creates a lower IR pack, higher cap. and voltage with lees charging time (30-60 sec) lower temp when charged.
