I finally got to run mine in a race and was having trouble keeping the rearend from coming around. I have 40wt oil all around and the stock springs. I am running on a smooth ashpault track. I tried loosing and tighting the front but didn't work. Spent most the time working the throttle to keep the rearend from coming around. I am not sure if its setup or the way I drive. I never drove with an oneway for the reason for not knowing.

check the rear diff. Check it directly after racing. I have found that it can be very rough directly after the race, but later is smooth again. I believe this might be a problem with the main balls and diff ring getting warm while racing. If you have the delrin ring, this is unlikely to be the problem.

Also check the rear droop. I put a 10mm block under the rear of the chassis and adjust the screws until the tyres, just touch the work surface.

The RDX kit sells for about 400-420, the carpet version is going for 440-450 its a lot of money but the quality of this kit is second to none. If you are a serious racer the RDX deserves a close look, you will not be dissappointed

RCGEN- Call Corally USA and get the Spring kit. Then when you show up this weekend ask Robbie or Michael to take alook at your car.

rcgen

Use harder front springs, 19 or 22 lb, I'm running 22 on smooth ashphalt.

Should fix it.

Cheers

Default different setup

Hello,

Iám a corally team driver from holland and this weekend I had a race in germany,

I first drove the rdx whit the normal hard short arms, and the car was verry difficult to drive. In the tight corners the rear was all over and what I tried it was 0,5 sec off pace per lap.

Then I tried some long hard arms from my old assassin, and made no changes to the setup and the car was so good. I was 0,6 per lap faster. The car was more stabble and had alot of steer.

has anyone tried this on the rdx? and what do you think of it. I really like to know.

Thanks guys I have a spring kit coming....hopefully before Thursday so I can sneak in a practice sessions.

For those still thinking about the car go ahead and get one...I raced another touring car for a while and bought hop up after hop up. This car basically has everything you need right out of the box. Very pleased.....

Guys i just got home from the January Jam on sunday. The car ran amazing. I had TQ going into the 4th round and i got edged out. The car was good all day. This car is very diff from what im used to running, it seemed to like the traction coming up. The more the traction came up the faster it got. No sense of the car wanting to lift, car stayed very flat. Winded up finishing 2nd overall in the mains. First A i finished 5tenths behind the leader and in the second A i got a killer hole shot and and second place got into me and i dropped back to tenth and made my way up to 3rd. Had alot of fun and any of you guys that are questioning this car, all i can say its the real deal. I came from another main manufacturer and this car has no prob surpassing that car. talk to u guys lata
