Now I'm really torn. My Assasin is dialed and is glued as can be. The only complaint I have is the steering on the Assasin. So many links to get to the servo, when they're aded up, it ends up with lots of play. Will the RDX have a new steering system?

Change the ballcups.
Or screw in a small pinionscrew to get them tightened.
The linkage on the RDX is the same.
However the fitting sizes off the ballstuds have been slightly increased.

teflon tape (for piping and whatnot) works wonders for de-slopping ball cups. it's usually unsightly, but a small piece of tape folded over itself to make a 1/2" x 1/2" square shape draped over the ball before the cup is pressed on is an awesome solution. at first it may be slighly too tigh, but it will mold itself to fit the larger cavites in a few runs, and does not restrict movement like orings do.

I'll try it. Thanks.

seaball.... yeah, they are next week. We were waiting on some final pieces to be machined. We actually have all the parts in stock already except for the lightweight diffs. Chassis, bulkheads etc are all here already. Parts are not a problem. Buy two just in case.

Greg,
You can sign up for a preOrder on www.corallyusa.com and get us your information. There is a list of dealers as well.
Stormer has kits on order already.
Superior Hobbies does too.
Stormer was just sent an order so they should have the arms you need. If they don't then call us directly at 407.681.5905

Really looking forward to getting this car. I do have one question: will there be any problems running 28mm foam tires?

Internal Transmission Ratio
Hello:
Does anyone know the internal transmission ratio for the RDX?
Will there be optional ratios?
I have an Assassin and I'm having a hard time getting it to rollout to 1.2 (for stock) with foam tires <57MM. (Sorry I know there an Assassin page).
Thx

Tech Rookie
There is some excellent information in this thread - I now am itching to get my RDX ! !
Quick question; can anybody tell me if there will be any differences between the kits released in Europe and the ones released in the US?
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
i think Corally will only put out one model that will include a one-way. It is mostly the Japanese manufacturers that will have different specs avaliable to different countries.
Corally USA,
thanks for the added pictures to your site. On the overhead shot is that the new light weight diff that i can just about see? It looks very nice, i really disliked the diff on the Assassin, this looks to be a really big improvement. Is it externally adjustable?
Is the car in the picture a final production model?
Thanks
Chris

koabich.... 28mm tires are not a problem with the car.
Electro-MAX RC.... Yes it is 2.0 drive ratio.
mike_f.... currently there is no difference between the Europe and US versions.
Chrissy C.... yes that is the lightweight diff. It cuts the weight nearly in half from the previous Assassin diffs. Yes, that overhead shot is a production kit.
