Hi guys,

I bought a Zero S this week and the '19T Center Pulley Set' + additional parts as well.
Now what FDR do you guys recommend to start with, the motor is a 2600kv.
I thought around 4.5, maybe?

thnx

If you don't have a cooling fan 4.5 would be a safe starting point. My motor started to get warm enough to be out of my comfort range at a 4.0. I also had the car bound up because it was my first tc chassis so I'm sure that didn't help the temps. Now I can run a 3.7 on twin cooling fans and I come off less than 120. Motor is a ballistic 25.5 run for vta.

Sometimes lots of hop-ups lead you to the opposite direction.
Yes they do. Its best to learn what you have and then change something. Relearn the car and add something else. I waited a while to get the sway bars so I could understand what was happening. If you jump right in and add all the options without understanding what is going on you will never get it tuned right.

Which mount should i get if i want less toe in in the rear for drifting.
I saw that i has the 2 and 3 in the box but what if i want less.
I found the optional alloy ones but can't figure out which does what.
seems to be adjusting the antisquat than toe.

The numbers are for toe. rr 0 is 0 degrees. rr 1 is 1 degree etc. don't forget the pivot balls for the aluminium mounts.

decided to get my Zero back together and add some bit so I can get back into VTA after a couple of months. Bought the threaded shock set and the solid axle, plus aluminium front bulkheads this week. What ride height are y'all running front and back? Droop?

TY very much.

Will a 35t pinion and a 78t spur fit in this car?

6mm ride height. Almost no droop up front slightly more in the back. Sorry I don't have my exact droop numbers but they are pretty low

Not sure. I converted to 64 pitch while assembling the car. Never ran the 48 pitch gears. Running a 47 pinion on a 88 spur if that helps any. Plenty of adjustment room left on the vertical mount.

When it comes to droop, I use the droop gauge tool that came in my TC3 kit.

http://www.teamassociated.com/parts/details/3987/

http://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/ca...droopgauge.PDF

I have my droop set to 3 in the rear and 6 up front.

Ride height is set with the plastic clips and my car was originally set at 6mm, but I now have it down to 5mm. I have lots of clips from numerous previous cars and can set it quite easily with the clips.
