Not a bad idea. We are rebuilding our F1 class after a one year break. We run two classes which is Tamiya style F1's with silvercan and pancar F1 such as RCindy, Corally, CRC, and such with 17.5 or 13.5 for the speed freaks. Where in Texas is this track and what's the website? I'm in N. Georgia and could probably bring a few of my non-driving buds with me.

Just a thought. Why not start in 2011 and get with other groups even small ones to get something going to race at others tracks. Might catch on might not. But it would be a start to get the ball rolling. Maybe your region roar onoad leader may have an idea. If you guys do it I will make the same attempt. I may try an AL vs Ga. vs Tn. vs any other state that wants to join in. Maybe at least X# of cars from each state for each race in the series plus the usual classes. Like I said, just a thought.

Nothing wrong with a carpool! I should add some of the gang from S. IL Alphacat has a huge carpet track in Carbondale and some super fast F1 guys,,,dangit! The track in Arkansas is always trying to get some F1 racing going. This could get things rolling and I know Memphis has gone F104 crazy this year and they are not far from that track so start contacting these guys.

Which brings me to another problem, Everybody remembers tmracingcomponents right! They had a very good tire (foam only)for the F103 and like cars. Then then the F201 came in...Bang! No more tires for us from the U.S.

And now the #'s of F1 cars have come back and seems to be growing. Should we all contact them and say "We want to buy American!" Lot's of clubs out there, lot's of racers, no tires without going out of country. Unless someone out there knows of a steady distributor we can count on.
