After finally finishing my car I ran at the Tamiya track yesterday and another local track today. Man this car is awesome it's far superior to my xray, tcxx, and tc6.1. Can't imagine how much better it could get. Easy to drive and carries a lot of corner speed.

What tires are you running? Traction was really high and that will cause for the car to push or under steer...

Run less droop.. I'm running 6mm droop front and 5mm droop rear... 5mm ride height front and 5.5mm ride height rear... I'm running 4.5T MOD at hobby town last night and my car is on the rails..

Stupid question but will the floating servo mount for the 417 v5 bolt up to the original 417? Also to run HPI springs do I need just the spring retainer or the shock collar too?

You just need to drill extra hole on the chassis..

You will just need the spring retainer and not the collar.

Not sure if any US shops are carrying them. Probably best to contact Smokem directly via their website.

The V5 floating servo mount also has a locating nub. That would be a bit tricky to drill out. So you might also need the V5 chassis.

On the sway bar turnbuckle what are the lengths they should be set at?
