T.O.P Racing's Rebel 1/12th scale

Also, I'm looking for some pointers on setup. I've run oval only, this is gonna be my first crack at on-road. Our class runs 13.5 motors, but first I'll practice with a 17.5 motor and move up to the 13.5 when I get the hang of it.
The track I'll be running at will be going to a CRC carpet very soon, and this is a permanent facility that sees a good crowd on raceday as well as some practice 2 nights a week. So I expect the bite to come up quickly.
What would you all recommend for tires, springs, and oils (as well as lube in the dampers)
Thanks

Also, the track's surface is pretty smooth, very little bumps.

I am trying to fit top black side springs, but they don't fit!
They are loose and in the first minor hit I loose a spring. Kit's original springs fit tight on top so they never get lost, even if they do not tough the side links during practice!
Any clue?
Thank you!

I just try to answer things that I have not found elsewhere...
Thank for your replies!
I will try to glue them! (With CA)

Thanks guys. About the black rear side springs, I'm guessing they're harder than the stock copper ones?

Ok thanks

No more taping batteries
We just released another product for the Rebel 12 - O-ring lipo battery holder. No more taping batteries in over and over. The holder sits on its own plain and does not tweak the chassis or the side spring plate, tested and works awesome!

Hey guys another question, see some guys are replacing the stock turnbuckes in the front upper a-arms with stronger titanium ones. Where do you get them from? And which company makes them?

Did the same thing on my Rebel oval chassis. Lunsford turnbuckles are a good choice. www.lunsfordracing.com.

Hi folks. I'm still having a little trouble with breaking side links. How long are they typically boiled for!
#1170
I boiled mine for 3 full minutes, since I build the car!
I think it works, since I only break a side link once (and nothing else)
