Also, I'm looking for some pointers on setup. I've run oval only, this is gonna be my first crack at on-road. Our class runs 13.5 motors, but first I'll practice with a 17.5 motor and move up to the 13.5 when I get the hang of it.

The track I'll be running at will be going to a CRC carpet very soon, and this is a permanent facility that sees a good crowd on raceday as well as some practice 2 nights a week. So I expect the bite to come up quickly.

What would you all recommend for tires, springs, and oils (as well as lube in the dampers)

Also, the track's surface is pretty smooth, very little bumps.

I am trying to fit top black side springs, but they don't fit!
They are loose and in the first minor hit I loose a spring. Kit's original springs fit tight on top so they never get lost, even if they do not tough the side links during practice!
Any clue?

I glue my springs onto the holder. So they stay straight and dont come off. I always run black springs.

Google top rebel 12 wiki, it is all the info you ever need, and the setup for a great baseline is there, everyone pretty much runs the same setup with small tweaks to suit driving style

Blacks are the softest springs.

Hey guys another question, see some guys are replacing the stock turnbuckes in the front upper a-arms with stronger titanium ones. Where do you get them from? And which company makes them?

Hi folks. I'm still having a little trouble with breaking side links. How long are they typically boiled for!

I boiled mine for 3 full minutes, since I build the car!
I think it works, since I only break a side link once (and nothing else)
