Yea when the brushes get considerably shorter,or burnt.....it's time to replace them....Just make sure to always have the comm cut when you replace the brushes or they'll quickly wear out......

The brushes are fine, according to my lhs. They also put a skotty diode on the motor, but it still glitches when the radio is over a foot away from the car. Also the motor is running hot, even if I run it for a few seconds. Could that be because of the comm?

Thanks

Works just like it did before I got the new battery pack. So, I think that it is the wire arrangement and/or the reciever. Probably the wires.

Thanks for all the help guys.
