I use a velcro strap from TOP racing, you can find it on amain. It works great and looks even better.

Hi all
When building the AE gear diff has anyone had problems
with the small o-ring.
( i split one)
Thanks in advance

Its a pretty thin o-ring. Make sure to put some oil on it before you slide in on the outdrive. If you dont, the o-ring could be "grabby" as you install and it could rip. The diff is awesome and doesnt leak!

I bought the Hudy tape ($25 a roll) two years ago and still have 3/4 of the roll left. You can use the same piece for more than one race night. I figure when this roll is empty in 2 more years, it will work out to about < 3 cents a race. One roll of tape will last way longer than velcro straps and it just feels more secure using a nice fresh piece of tape than a worn out piece of velcro.

The TOP strap will work, but can very easily add tweak to your ride. The Puretech Xtreme strap is a much better fit, holds the battery snug while being a bit free at the same time. The TOP strap tends to bind and is easy to pull too tight. The Puretech strap is also thinner and more flexible. The 5 inch strap fits perfectly in a TC6.

(Tape is just... icky.) :)

Help

Need help setting up my tc6.1. Im running tekin rs pro with 2.5t. The car drives straight, but when I punch the throttle the car feels very loose and hooks sharply to the left. I set the car to factory spec with the increase of 2 deg toe in (kind of help). What am I doing wrong.., could it be chassis tweak?

Check your droop to make sure it's even. Also, try 3* of toe, or maybe even more.
