The Raikiri LW is indeed a surprisingly nice handling body. I ran it back to back with my p-zero and posted the same lap times and there was only 0.2s between thre two over a 5 minute run. However, thre Raikiri felt more connected and more direct. The p-zero was better for fighting grip roll since it is lower and lighter.

I do noticed that with the body set at the height it is supposed to be in, the tires are rubbing under the hood. Does yours do that on your nsx too? |
body rubs during impact only on the raikiri. nsx I run one hole higher all the way around.

First look at the numbers I'm in third position look at my fastest lap same as the first position driver and he's one of the top racers in our entire state of Sunny South Florida he was running a x-ray with a p zero second place car I believe was an awesomatix also running a p zero. My car was a Tamiya ta07 with a Tamiya raikari gt body. I would have finished slightly better had I not clipped another car during passing him and ended up on my lid but I was able to fight my way back up through the remaining 7 cars . The Tamiya bodies work but you have to make them work . First thing you need to use the Tamiya and lightweight Wing set which I use on all of my body's I also have a P0 that I run with sometimes just to mix it up and that uses a Tamiya lightweight rear wing they are excellent https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...78648e209e.jpg

How's the Ford GT body doing? I saw a bunch when they 1st came out, but now hardly see them at all. Got one for Xmas, so I'm kind of committed :)

hey guys.
im looking to get into USGT. i ran Touring cars back in the 90s (HPI RS4 Pro [1]) was the hot ticket at the time. looking for something at the top of the competitive curve, but also with good long term US parts supply. what chassis('s) would be recommended? will be running at N-Control in Austin TX using C6R or C7R body. |
