I have a question,

If a track/event runs Can-Am USGT, does it count for points into the national points series?

Is it actually USGT anymore since they do not have 21.5 motors?

yes you can run the Pro classes and the reg classes, but I would recommend the top racers and sponsor racers to consider the Pro and IROC classes as primary.

Nice but is it good enough to replace the PZ? 6 out of 6 at my last race.

At least some of them have actual paint jobs. Getting really tired of seeing the translucent one coat, one color spray bombs that can’t be bothered with any decals but their “sponsors”. No head or tail lights. Just your logo here decals.

That is doing more damage to the spirit of the class than the design of the bodies.

While I think it’s awesome that the Ford GT will be 190mm and we have another great look car to choose from, I have a 200mm that I’ve ran before, it should be a rule, that the pillars have to be ran with it. If not, you know somebody is going to try and save the 5 grams by not running them, making the car look ridiculous.

I’m guilty of that. I’ve triec in past to do good multi color paint before I step into racing. None came out good. And while I understand the complaints about the single color paint. Especially in pictures. But for the local level club, especially for those just getting into racing, or only in for short time. Last thing hobby needs is painting skills being a reason not to try racing. While it wasn’t the reason for me, it was a factor. Now for those “Big Events”. Enforce all the paint requirements possible.

I don't blame you. Sometimes when I am less than motivated or not feeling 'skilled' I will opt for the ol' marlboro 2 color jobber hehe. Simple but classic race scheme even if you don't use red and white.
